01 · The story

The name found its way home

Lu never meant to begin another island. He chose a region before noticing its name, then asked Leeloo for one final yes. They found themselves on Bisous Island, or Kiss Island.

Lu is Finnish. In Finnish, pusu means kiss and saari means island. There is a real Pususaari in Finland. So the name felt less like an invention and more like something waiting to be found.

Since then, the island has lived by seasons. Every corner holds a reason, a memory or a story.

02 · The builds

An island written in seasons

Each Pususaari lasts for a while, then makes room for another. Six landscapes came before the next chapter, now taking shape for autumn.

04 · Two imaginations

Made by Lu and Leeloo

Lu is Pususaari’s builder and creative soul. The island carries his handwriting in its land, structures and small, deliberate turns.

Leeloo co-creates its meshes, animals and details. Sometimes she turns Lu’s directions into a structure, as she did with the lighthouse. Through her photographs and words, she also gives the island its public voice.

One imagines. One notices. Both make the island feel alive.

The shore is never far away

Pususaari is resting while its next season takes shape. Until it returns, its photographs and community remain open.
